The vocal scores are in German and English, published by Cranz, Hamburg (1880?, pl. no. C. 25068) and Joseph Williams, London (188-?, pl. no. J.W. 10025). The vocal and chorus parts are holographs or manuscript. There are at least two sets of vocal parts and one of chorus parts, as well as fragmentary and incomplete parts. Promptbooks are in German and English. Of the English, five are typed, three are manuscript, and one is mimeoed manuscript. Of the two German promptbooks, one is a holograph which includes extensive stage diagrams and directions, with English annotations. The other was printed in Wien, 1880, by Theodor Gierau and includes a list of the cast. The dialogue parts includ 49 manuscript parts, many incomplete and fragmentary, in German. Several carry performers' signatures. Fifteen are manuscript, in English, in various hands. Eleven are bound manuscript, in English, and 39 are typed, in English, and bound, representing three complete sets. Lyrics include two copies published by Aug. Cranz (Hamburg, n.d.) and one copy published by H. Bartsch for the Thalia-Theatre.
